Default RE: stripe removal

Funny story. My wife refused to sign the offer sheet until she got in writing that the dealership would remove the stripes the next morning first thing.

We had just had bad weeks, and her old Acura was being testy, so we decided to go looking at Mustangs that Friday night. I really wanted a windveil blue, as it is about the same color as my '66 used to be, but she fell in love with the Tungsten Gray on a stripped down base model. It was the only one on the lot that color, so we told the young agressive salesman we'd think on it and maybe come by the next day to order one with everything she wanted on it

So we drive across town to the other Ford dealer and were discouraged that they only had 5 Stangs by the entrance. We got out anyway and told the salesman that grabbed us that she really liked the Tungsten, but we didn't see anything but red, white, and black. He says he thinks they got in a new one that morning that was gray or silver, but he wasn't sure. Go around the corner, and there it was....everything she wanted....Tungsten, charcoal leather, interior upgrade, and the Pony Package that we weren't familiar with b/c the other dealer had none with the package.

The only thing was the side striping in black, which she decided she hated in seeing it on the few Mustangs around town. I told her that with everything this car had, I could deal with them if she could. She was a rock, though. She wouldn't even tell the guy what she was putting down until he wrote out and signed the back of a printout saying they would be removed ASAP.

We love the results....
