Default HELP: Plastic Part under Chassis

Hello Guys,

I see a plastic part under the chassis of my 2014 Mustang 3.7, I attached pics. This part is on the passenger side. Could anyone tell me if this is normal and if your 2014 Mustang has the same part? My concern is I warped this part when I back off onto an ice chunk on the ground.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks, SPARTAN.
I think mine should also be flush with chassis, but I warped it when backing off into a pile of snow. Do you know the name of this part and the cost to fix or replace it?

dlazrael,
Thanks.
I found a pic online in which that part is labeled as "fuel tank stone guard".

They are normal, wind deflectors/"stone guard" like you mentioned.

Which help protect the fuel line and/or fuel return line that sit right behind it

Thank you guys, I think I already know the name and use of this part. But based on SPARTAN VI's picture, mine is obviously warped. I talked to the dealer today, they will charge 60 for the part and 50 for labor to replace it.

Werd. It's 2 bolts, and there's probably enough clearance under your car so wouldn't even need a jack/ramps.
