Ok guys so today I noticed (and it must have just started) that after I shut my car off, take the key out of the ignition and the radio will come on until you open the door or after a few minutes right?

Well even if I open the door, close it, lock the car with the key fob etc, with the key out of the ignition if I touch the brake the radio and dome lights go off while all the dash lights (idiot lights etc) come on. If you take your foot off the brake, the radio goes back on and so do the dome lights while the dash lights go off.

Wtf? Is this just a bug? It's freaking me out lol. I believe it to have just started because I don't remember anything happening before throughout the previous year. Anyone else ever experience this or similar?

My wife's '06 does that. I don't recall my '07 doing that and since the 05's and '06s are known for the radios draining the batteries under certain circumstances, that's a likely reason. Most vehicles disconnect power to the accessories with the ignition off.

Yea that sounds strange, I do know our cars have a battery drain issue with the radio. For years now whenever I turn the car off and park it I always shut off the radio and HVAC controls before turning the ignition off, its has become a routine habit- and I have not had issues since. Don't really know whats up with your car but maybe someone else will chime in!
