Default Rotor Information

Hello,

I have a 2006 Mustang GT with 117k miles on it I am replacing my rotors for the first time and not sure what to choose. I know you get what you pay for however I also don't want to break the bank. I was given advice to go with DBA rotors and Hawk pads. Now I noticed they formed rust very quick. Are other brands like Stoptech, Powerslot, EBC etc any good? I do not go to the track only highway and street driving but liked the look of drilled and slotted rotors. I was told drilled are the worst is this true? Has anyone here tried any of the named or similar brands with normal driving with luck? I don't want to spend the money if going to have issues for that Ill stick with stock as this is only my 2nd time replacing pads and first replacing rotors.

I have powerslot and I have been happy. My car is a garage queen so I don't have rust on my rotors. However if it was parked outside and driven in rain im sure it would

If you get drilled rotors, get high quality name brand ones. The cheapies/generics tend to radiate hairline cracks from the holes over time.

How long have you had your powerslot and how many miles on them? Are they just slotted and do they make noise?

I know you already bought some rotors but I have had mine for two years with maybe 15k miles on them. They are slotted and make zero noise.
