Key fob problem

Hey. Quick little problem.

What would cause all the buttons except the trunk button to function properly?
Both lock buttons and the panic button work fine. The trunk button doesn't do anything?

Suggestions?

Maybe try reprogramming it
Does the spare key work?

Maybe the trunk unlock solenoid is bad.

Maybe try new batteries? Mine went bad after only a year.
