Hi all, I am planning to buy a newer and been looking for couple different ones.
I was test driving a 2005 V6 4.0 and while accelerating it had some kind of whining noise, similar to turbocharged cars, like a valve?? that changed when the transmission shifted.

What is the noise I heard? normal ?

open the hood.... if it has a poweradder you'll see it. if not stay away from it, its got a mechanical issue
