Default Berryman b-12 chemtool combustion chamber cleaner review

I didn't see a product review forum, so feel free to move this if I missed it.

Took a video this morning of number 3 cylinder. the spark plug looked like new, so i didn't bother taking a pic of it. I didn't have a lot of time to do this as I had somewhere to be, so the video is not the greatest. Trying to get a 360 degree view of the piston takes a lot of time and patience.

Now this video camera has a magnification factor, not sure exactly how much, but it makes it look like there is a huge buildup of carbon. It also makes it blurry when you move it. Carbon buildup is all the way out to the edge of the pistons.

I fed the berryman solution through the vacuum hose going to the fuel pressure sensor, after the blower. After seeing what this stuff does to a red solo cup, I didn't want it going through the blower.
The motor didn't seem to mind while it was running, but it was a bitch to restart. It also ran like crap and I didn't run it very far or hard. The whipple intake has a big sump and I'm wondering just how much of this crap pooled in the bottom. it's supposed to atomize, but I bet a lot just sits on the bottom of the intake manifold. I said 10 to 2, lol!

the AFR stayed around 10:1 and it set two codes for o2 stuck rich both banks. The short term fuel trims went to 28+, my tune doesn't have long term fuel trims turned on. I bet I could have disconnected the injectors and the motor wouldn't have missed a beat.

The exhaust had an almost sweet smell to it, maybe the alcohol burning.

And the after video.

I'll let you all be the judge. Did it remove carbon? did it change anything at all?

I fully intend to inject distilled water using the same method, maybe tomorrow. I have a feeling that water will do a better job. Don't just go dumping water into your motor, I'm doing this slowly using a very restrictive tube. the tubing has a pin hole on one end, so it sucks it up a little at a time.

Looks like it helped a tad. Keep running it till it's all out of the system I'd say. Thanks for the video review!

I throw a 20 oz. bottle of Techron at mine every 5K miles and forget about it.

I think you're supposed to pour it in the gas tank.
