A tune is definitely worth the price. However, buying used isn't always the cheapest option. You have to make sure the item is unmarried from the previous owners car. If it's not, you'll have to send it back to the manufacturer to be unlocked which cost $150.

After that, you'll need to buy custom tunes for your Mustang. If you decide to go with Bama there is a $150 fee to buy into our free tunes for life program. From there you'll be in good shape for the future and we can offer as many tunes as you'd like! (this is included when buying the device new through us).

I hope this helps! If you have any questions feel free to hit up the Bama team. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

The Diablo platform tends to be the less popular one than the SCT but it's how the tune is written that determines the performance and AM/Bama writes excellent tunes regardless of the handheld platform.

To answer your question, yes, it's worth it. A good custom tune with a CAI will typically yield about 20-25 RWHP as well as improved driveability.
