I love my new 5.0 but she's just too quiet. I am very distressed that the boomtube isn't available for 14's- can any of you all recommend an equivalent? I'm liking the Borla s type / frpp sports, but I'm concerned they're just too quiet. I want to hear my car at all times, even when I'm driving at 2k rpm pumping classic rock through the Shakers

 

Have you checked out Youtube videos of 5.0's with Bassani's or SLP Loud Mouths?

 

I watched both. Was not amused by Bassani (Personal preference that I couldn't put my finger on), the loudmouths sound great but just a bit too unrefined and reviews about fit worry me.

I really want to hear it in the car with windows up, and the Pype Bombs look similar to the Tubes. But now that I have a big boy job I am wondering if a full out delete is too teenagerish

 

I'd also hope this needed no saying but I would really rather avoid buying an exhaust which earns me questions like "How many miles do get to the pound of rice?"

I'm in love with the ROUSH axlebacks I have, great sound and no drone at cruising speeds. My 2nd choice would've been the FRPP Sports (Same as S-Type). If you're looking for louder than that, check out the Borla ATAK's.
