Default LED dome lights???

Had a few Dome lights left over from an F150 project and added them to the 07 Stang. I noticed this morning that the bulbs seem to stay on with a light hue while I driving. Doesnt happen in the truck. i believe the bulbs are T10s, anyone have info on this????

Dont want to leave in if they will remain on with this draw....will it drain battery?

Thx.

the interior lights are driven by the body control module (BCM) through a PWM circuit, which is how they dim as they turn off. there's a small residual current when the lights are "off;" an incandescent bulb won't show it but LEDs can produce light with even a tiny amount of current.

short version: it won't kill your battery. that current was already flowing through the stock bulbs, you just couldn't see anything.

Thx for the info, found it to be strange since the truck lights dont stay on, good to hear theres no drain concern : )
