Default 2006 GT Acceleration

Question about the off the line acceleration in my 2006 gt. Seems like the gas pedal is really stiff. When I tap on the gas pedal and it finally engages it will kick the rpm's up above 1K. Anyway to get a little more finesse out of my gas pedal?

Thanks

Do a search on resetting your gas pedal

There is a lot of lag in the drive by wire system. A tune will improve it drastically as well add adding some nice gains. With a proper cold air kit about 35 to the wheels.

...Or possibly a dirty TB. If the butterfly gums up, the effort to break it free will result in symptoms similar to yours.
