So my car has had the check engine light on since I got the car. And I finally went and checked the code an wala Evap purge valve faulty. Well so I start looking for it. And it's gone. So my question is why remove it?

 

The car is an all stock 11 5.0 with a c & l cai and exhaust + x-pipe.

 

no reason at all, it doesnt hurt power for it to be there, nor do you gain power with it removed
