Default 2009 V6 4.0L turn but no start (for about 30 seconds)

I have a base model 2009 V6 4.0L that I recently bought used. It has about 80,000 miles on it so it has definitely gotten some use. Recently it seems to have trouble starting, and while it will keep turning, it can take up to 30 seconds or 2-3 attempts to start up. While I'm driving it seems to run perfectly fine, and the trouble starting seems to happen randomly. I know most of the time there is a turn but no start issue it is the fuel pump, but I want to make sure that is the issue before ordering a new one.
How can I make sure it is the fuel pump?
Any ideas what other issues it could be/how to check them?

I would start basic first. Change out the fuel filter, Maybe put some injection cleaner in it an run. I use seafoam. After that then I would look towards the fuel pump.
