Smashed mustang
Some V-6 parts will fit but not look the same. Was there subframe damage? Remember once you bend metal and then bend it back it loses it's strength and rigidity. You should have the underside checked out by a professional body shop before you go put money into it to make sure it is safe to drive. My theory is that once a car is wrecked there is no putting it back the way it was unless the bent subframe is totally replaced.
If the insurance company totaled it, then it's not worth fixing, unless you KNOW
exactly what you're doing. Then you have to gen an "R" title once it's finished.
Without seeing, cannot help, I have rebuilt front ends before, and as long as the
aprons, and the front horns are good (crash bar attaches to them), then it may
be repairable. Fenders, hoods, easily replaced... If the upper rad support was
bent, it is iffy...
GT front parts will fit, but then you need to get all the GT plastics. You will need
to cut the upper rad support horn perch and relocate the right horn far left to
use a GT grille with fogs. This is easy, I did it, I have a post here on it,
The MAIN concerns, are the aprons, inner (strut towers) and outer, where the fenders
bolt on to. It will never line up perfectly if they are bent. Sometimes you can oval
out the fender mount holes to move them in or out more, but then the other side
has to match, and the hood lines will be off...
Sight unseen, can be sure...

I'm working on getting mine repaired from a front end issue and hopefully will have it finished next week. The hood is the same between it and v6 but the fenders and bumper are not. Check the upper radiator support for damage as others suggested. It's welded on so replacement isn't cheap. As others have suggested make sure you know the extent of any damage to the radiator support or frame before you start.

Fenders are the same, they just don't have the hole(s) for the GT emblem.
An '07 Shelby GT hood is not the same.
the 2010+ Fenders, are not the same.
So, '07 V6 and 07 GT, same hood, same fenders, same headlamp assemblies,
different plastics...
If the car is repairable, I'd suggest you buy a totaled GT that was rear-ended and use it as a parts donor.
