I just bought a 2012 GT Convertible, I had it inspected by my independent mechanic and everything looked good. My local Ford Dealer (who was not selling the car) refused to supply me, or show me the OASIS report for the vehicle. I have received an OASIS report in the past when I bought my Explorer and Super Duty. Is there anyone here that can run it?

I was real hesitant about buying a USED convertible, but the wife really wanted this one...we shall see what I am in for. It will stay in the garage unless it is at her work. So I am not too concerned about leaks, but I do worry.

 

Oasis is Ford's own internal records and communication system so they aren't obligated to supply any records to anyone. Even if a person is purchasing a car from them, it's at the dealers discretion. It's not like carfax or other records agencies where its a service they offer purely for profit.

Your best bet is to find someone that is in, or works for a Ford Service center and ask if they can supply it.
