Default 2005 Fail safe engine mode

Hi, so some background the other day I was driving it was raining. I had a few moments of hydroplaning. Well with all of that going on I did not see the already dead armadillo in the road and hit it. Well with all of that about 15 minutes after hitting the armadillo while it is still down pouring I get a Fail safe engine mode. My mustang then proceedes to die. She cranked back up with a rough idle but would not go above 15mph. My gas pedal is not responding. I ran FIXD on my car and it came back with codes P2135. The app gave me three different things to try. 1) The throttle body sensor. 2) Actuator sensor 3) Wiring issue. Has anyone had this issue before? What would be the simplest thing to try first before I go replacing sensors?

I would find a wirings picture of the throttle body sensor and use a hairdryer to dry all the connectors. Not too hot. I think you just got the wiring and connectors wet. Maybe.....

My last x wife (number 3) was from Florida and we drove down there several years ago to visit her family. I was with my Father in law and saw a strange animal walking down the highway. I asked him what is that? He said it was an Armadillo. I thought they were only in Texas, I didn't know Florida had them too
