Not sure if anyone else mentioned this in this long list of items here, but I noticed this morning that the passenger door handle doesn't have a key cylinder.. pretty cool!
Yeah, they haven't had a keyhole on the passenger side since the '99 model.

One thing I've noticed is that the insulation under the hood is already trimmed for a Shaker hood cutout. That's really cool because it let's me know that there WILL be a Mach 1 version coming soon.

This one depends on trim:

If you have a GT, with fanblade or otherwise "spinnerless" wheels, the only single thing identifying the car from the outside is the emblem on the grille. The words "Ford" and "Mustang" are nowhere to be found on the outside of the car.
that to me is THE coolest thing about the mustang, it doesnt say the word "mustang" anywhere, yet it says mustang all over it even from blocks away at any angle. Cant think of more than a handful of new cars that are as 'distinctive' in shape/style, and it is the ONLY one of those I think looks good- er great. Ford really nailed this one.
actually that's wrong....it says mustang when you open the door right there next to the seat. That probably doesn't count though

one of the cool things that i have recently knowticed is that when i am going decently fast (85+ ish) the seatbelt locks up
also, the traction control is very cool, earlier today i swerved because some guy was about to t-bone me, and the traction control pretty much stopped me from going into a ditch

(i know this is an old thread lol)

I won't be getting my fobs for my GT until tomorrowish ( dealer trade and they're still at the original dealer ) but on my Maxima I just hold the unlock button down and the windows will come down.

The best and coolest thing about owning my 2005 Legend Lime GT is that's is paid for, and I just ordered a complete Cervini's full body kit to install for Christmas!
