Hi,
I'm new here and also New to Mustangs. Just purchased this privately and got it delivered (06 GT 4.6 convertible). pulled it in my yard and while idling was checking the A/C charge when it started running rough and just quit. Now won't start at all. So after new fuel pump, filter, MAP sensor and throttle position sensor still nothing. The alarm lock light is flashing constantly until turned on after a few seconds. Cranks fine. No fuel pulse I believe now. There is fuel at the rail and pressure. It Will try to run with a squirt of starting fluid. I'm stumped now. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Did you scan the ECU for fault codes?
It sounds like you threw those parts on the car more in hope than in expectation.

 

Yes I did. The code P061b came up. Which I believe was pointing toward the MAP & throttle sensor or the air filter, so yeah I was hoping. After disconnecting the battery for 30 min, now there are no codes. But still cranks w/ no start. What tells the injectors to fire?
