The red yellow wire should have voltage. Check the green black wire for resistance. If it has no resistance, check it for a short to power.

If I suspected 02 sensor problems, I would probably unplug those, to see if anything changed when I started it.

P0443 is almsost always one of these 3 things
  • Canister Purge Solenoid (CANP) Wiring
  • Canister Purge Valve
  • Fuse #47
If it is having other problems with the 02 sensors, then yes, it could be something else...The 02 sensors and the purge use the same fuse I believe. Fuse 47, so for sure check the wiring resistance and check for shorts in wiring
Hi again!
I removed the 47 fuse and the car was idled like crap and it logged many errors. turned it off, returned fuse back and these erros gone. however, the P0443 come back. i guess this at less prove that the fuse thing is OK. the thing that this idle issue because of p0443 happened at the first maybe 5 min then idle issue goes away (error stays on PCM). but its so annoying lol.

now, since i changed the purge valve 2 times in less than a month with different brands i think its either a short or PCM issue. i can see there is power on the socket itself and i need now to check for the short.

I have voltmeter, can you tell me how i can measure the black and white wire resistance? like i shall hock one side to that wire and the other one to where to check the resistance? to the body of the car maybe?

Talking

Hi there ...
After checking everything the only remain was the PCM. i consult many before doing this. since i dont have spare unit, i went and bought one from the junk yard. Boy oh boy! it was hell to fine one around my area. i had to look in different country to find it at last.
it reached me after few weeks but keep it on my room for 3 months (lazy :P ) before deciding to program it and install it. it fixed all the damn nightmares i had before ! ALL of it.

O2 sensor issues, P0443 (Purge Valve),P0053 P0054 P0059 P0060 (which i wrote it about it on different forum) and many many more. as matter of fact, i had to kept using the car since 3 months just to make sure it fixed it all. am so happy for this end. i have already new car but ...But i still love this 05-09 Body style and cant let it go
Thank you all for your helping.
