Life is funny.

As a population, men will tell you women are worse drivers.

But - Insurance Companies will tell you that statisticly, men are worse.

The difference - when a male crashes, he REALLY Screwes things up!... Women on the other hand do have more accidents but they are much more commonly minor in nature.

Insurance is higher on males as well because men tend to push the limits more and more often, then females. Men are risk takers, women are not.

Of course, I personally know some women who are AWESOME drivers and I know several men who have to buy another car every year - because they wreck the one they currently have.

You always have exceptions, but Insurance companies go by the numbers.

Man crash - Serious dollars to fix.
Woman crash - 1000 to 3000 to fix.

Here are some names of some women who would woop alot of guy's asses. It might sound kinda gay bring such a topic up, but its just funny to me how some guys can be so ignorant.

Donica Patrick
Shirley Shahan
Shirley Muldowney
Rhonda Hartman-Smith(4.523 seconds 1/4 mile)
Ashley Force
No doubt there are some good female drivers, but names like Danika Patrick and Ashley Force don't deserve to be on the same list as Shirley.

Shirley is the pioneer. She didn't just cross barriers, she tore them down & kicked their a$$. That is one woman that will always have my respect & gratitude.

Thanks for the comment btw, diablito. Hope the "I am male, fear my testosterone" guys that put down all the women, no matter what they say, don't give you too hard a time!! This woman appreciates what you said, that's for sure.

... Also, the fatality rate for men is considerably higher than women.
That's because they were trying to avoid the woman that was about to hit them.

... I let my girlfriend drive my 05 GT when ever she needs it and shes never had anything happen to it.
Because she's taking it to her man on the side and he's driving her around.

how does one explain that insurance is higher for men than for women?
Men make more money! Duh!

A bunch of straight line drivers, except for Danica Patrick. Put any one of them in a Mustang and I'm sure most of the guys here with road course or dragstrip experience could hold their own against them.

Of course, I'm kidding except for that last statement.

Hmmmm......... Have you ever driven a 4 second dragster pushing over 6000+ horses??????????????? I didn't think so.
Ok, and a 300 horspower car, give me a break, how dare you campare the skills of a professional driver. I would love to see you straped in a dragster and see if you could keep it in a "straight line". Please, give me a break. All the lines we'll see are **** streaks in your underwear.

You weren't kidding. You read a few lines and immediately jumped to conclusions before finishing reading what was posted.
