Default Shaker 500 Head unit

My question is, in my 2006 GT, I have the Shaker 500 stereo and it has the AUX AUDIO button.....are there some kind of jacks on the backside of this radio to be able to connect something to it (like RCA jacks or 1/8 plug jack) I was curious about hooking up my XM radio and was wondering what would be the best way....and if the AUX AUDIO could be utilized. Thanks...

The answer is yes...

Two ways... if your good with wiring you can wire it in yourself.

Here is the scematic... http://webpages.charter.net/thewiz/Mustang/AuxAudio.pdf

You wire in your jacks on port JP4...
Right Hot to Pin 1
Left Hot to Pin 2
Audio Ground (Shield) to Pin 3
A ground to Chassie to Pin 4 << Enables the Aux Button on the stereo.

OR... you can buy a premade unit that just plugs into the port.

Hey i just installed the aux input converter in my 2006 GT Mustang and it doesnt work. Ive disconnected the 16 pin connecter and put in the new 16 pin connecter from the CAN-BUS. Ive connected the ground and the 12 v wire. Adjusted the line level and it still says no aux audio. I dont know why this happens. Please reply with any help. thanks.
