TECH: replacing the stock throttle body

What do you want to know? There are four TP wires and two TACM (Throttle Actuator Control Motor) circuits....... the actual voltage is different than this anticipated value - you end up with failsafe mode.

I am trying to fit a larger throttle body tomy duratec HE engine.
Is a throttle by wire system but slight different. The TPS and the TACM are in the same potition.

What kind of vehicle to do you have? Duratec with ETB....hmmm.. And you want to use a Mustang throttle body? I don't know about compatability. I can tell you which wires are what and where you would have to put them to make the throttle body from a stang work, but I can't tell you if it will work or not.
Not trying to be mean or anything, but unless you plan to do major engine modifications there is no reason why you should get a new TB. The stock one is very good, and if you manage to uprgrade it with no problems (which is highly unlikely) is the trouble really worth 2-3 hp? Buying a new muffler will get those results and it make the car sound better at the same time. So basicaly if you are looking to get the highest hp NA as possible than a new TB is porobably a good idea, but if you aren't then there is really no reason to replace the stock TB.
I agree. But judging by the pinout of the throttle body connector, it seems this guy is trying to put a mustang TB on something other than a stang. Hell, I am likely wayyyyy confused.[8D]
