Yes, My car is in the shop geting the same grille and ram air hood. It should be ready any day now. I cannot wait. I'll post pics as well!

FastBackDan, - the guy that built the car has a shop (I assume a body shop) and did all the work himself. I think the car looks great from far off, but once close, I'm not as impressed. Just my $0.02.

 

even if the ram air hood is functional, does it actually make a performance increase?

 

Yup.....a little bit, not a ton. It delivers more air right to the engine, and in the case of the GTR Ram Air hood, right on top of the Cold Air Intake.

 

can you FEEL the increase of power?

 

Not enough for me to be sure. Plus...I just got it and now my car is away for the winter, barely driven since getting the hood....snowing like crazy right now, in Massachusetts.

 

I like the ram air hood scoop, I also am thinking about the californis Deaming hood, its also sweet

 

time to move to california ^_^
