Thanks guys and yes i ment the that small white circle inside the intake called catalytic converter. So i take it wont damage the air filter or the engine right.

No, it will not damage the air filter or the engine. Just don't grab it by the white paper filter and try to remove it. Like I said, do a search and get a couple of ideas first.

Once again, he is not talking about the "catalytic converter", he is talking about a carbon filter between the air filter and the intake tube. No, it is not a federal crime. If it were a federal crime, I don't think there would be a years worth of magazine articles telling you the benefits of removing it. I don't think that every CAI manufacturer out there would tell you to remove it when you install their product.
And just for the record, even if he were removing the actual catalytic converter, it is not a "federal" crime.

Actually hawgman is right i only wanted to remove the white circular part and hes also right about me not having one in my car so again hes right that it is not a crime since the later 2005 mustang models dont have it anymore. I just opened my filter and checked and it wasnt there. Thanks hawgman appriciate your advice. You Da Man
