Excellent product!! I absolutely love mine. It is a breeze to hook up, you can dial it in to whatever RPM you want, and it is small enough to mount just about anywhere. I purchased a set of gauge pods from Speed of Sound and they have a partnership with Raptor. So if you order pods with the "Raptor Claw" your Raptor shift light mounts right on the gauge pods.

Gauge install wasn't bad at all. Had to drill and tap for the H2O sensor but other than that pretty cut and dry for the gauges I installed. As I have said in other threads though, the narrowband is as useless as nipples on a snake. But.... I had the gauge already, needed something to fill the hole, so that was what I hooked up. I may have a future need for some other gauge and if that time comes that one will get replaced.

The green wire on the coil pack just like it shows in the instructions.

I don't know specifically accurate it is. Accurate enough. Not like I are going to be able to shift at the EXACT nanosecond that the light comes on anyway. If I set it for 6kRPM, i'm sure that is going to be when the light comes on, give or take a couple of RPM. It takes the reading straight off of the coil pack firing a spark plug. Hard to get much more accurate than the number of times the plug fires.

Curious as to why you are questioning the accuracy and how accurate you actually expect it to be, and how quickly you think you can react to the light in order to assure that accuracy... It's not like Raptor is a fly by night company that just popped up in the last 6 months.

which ever LED color you go with, you will probably end up with the rubber cap on it. The dang thing is kind of like staring in to the sun with tooth pics holding your eyelids open.

The Speed of Sound gauge pod was $119 plus shipping, the Raptor shift light was $89 plus shipping. The two Revo gauges I already had, but they were around 50 or so each.
