Amazing how stuck up the Brits are, I love watching Top Gear but man they hate on American cars like you wouldn't believe.

Quote "Built on a budget" no friggin duh buckwheat! They hated the Ford Lightning, talk about how the average Euro car will do rings around the new Mustang (although at least they ended up liking it) these lame brains test $200,000 cars and then jump into an American car that sells for less than 30k and slam it. Quote "American's can't build cars" stop fugging testing them then and stick with the expensive cars you love so much!

The F-150 is the best selling vehicle bar none, can't be disputed, the one on the show looked like it was beat to ****, I've never seen one so poorly put together, it looked very used and abused. But these guys will slam American's like we're all inbreeders who don't know any better.

Ok, end of rant, I still like the show but want to punch them all in the face...

it was pretty cool, even though you want to bitch slap him, at the end though he did justify it by the price.

 

I like Top Gear. Jeremy owns a Ford GT, and they do say some good things about American cars. They also make fun of Australians. You have to think of the demographics, Europeans enjoy making fun of Americans. It's just what they do.

 

It funny to here them crack on American cars when most of there population either drives around little box cars or bikes.

 

Its just a Brit thing, they really dislike Americans. I work with/for them and when you speak with them they are constantly bothered by you. Like RICVA05 says 99.9% of brits either drive little 1.1 litre **** boxes, ride a bike, or take the tube.

 

The truth of the matter is they are probably pissed because Ford owns Aston Martin, Land Rover.
