Default What to do about front licence plates

I live in a state that requires front and rear plates. I really don't want to drill holes in the bumper of my brand new '06 GT. Is there any way around putting holes in my car? It is only temporary because I am moving in 3 months and wont need a front plate then.

Dont do it, i live in CA and its required also. But when i get pulled over i will gladly ask the officer to show me where exactly the plate is supposed to go. Its not out fault there is no mounting brackets.

You ever got a ticket for it? If so how much, it might be worth the fine.

Doesn't work in Texas. No holes, no plate. Here is your $50 ticket. I paid and I have a front licenses plate.

I'm debating about installing mine, CT your supposed to have a front plate, not worried about them but I would like to use my EZ-Pass and I think its a fine if they can't see your front plate. Decisions, Decisions. It wouldn't be so bad if I could find a plate bracket that I liked.

i kno it sound ghetto as all hell but since you're moving in 3 months and you seem worried about a ticked, just use some small black zip ties and zip tie it to your lower grill, if you can make it square enough it may look like it's supposed to be there, ghetto i kno but it might work for the time being!

If they want a front plate, they can gladly pay for a bumper made for one.

hell, if it's only for 3 months, just stick it on your dashboard...ricey maybe, but it's better than putting holes in your baby

I'm going to stick mine on with that 3m tape. If it can hold spoilers and emblems on it should be able to handle a license plate..........

I have been thinking of the zip ties for the time being, but the 3m tape is a good idea too. The only concern I have with that is if the tape will harm the paint when I take it off.
