Cool, I've been shopping at Mobile 1 stores since about 1986 (am I showing my age here? LOL) I'll have to come by your store sometime. You keep all those in stock normally?

Im not reading all them posts, get this

Pioneer AVIC-N1

you get DVD's While in motion, Navagation, XM,MP3, Vechicle Dynamics, all in one. On ebay for around a thousand
Dont get the upgraded Pioneer AVIC-N2 or whatever cause you cant watch DVD while in motion, cause they use the navation Gyro thing to turn off dvds

Its also a Single din

I have a way to disable the Movment sensors and parking brake sensors on the Pioneer Avic-D1 and N2's as well as installing the VSS Wire on the 2005 Mustang on my website (AVIC-D1 Install Notes on My Website)

I like the AVIC-D1 double din look better in the Mustang. I have not had any luck with motorized touch screens.

For the most part, we keep those in stock.
As far as making the pioneer's able to play video while driving, yes we know about it. We have known about it since it's introduction. The problem is that if this is done, then the factory warranty is voided completely.

for the pioneer one i know that some adapter was needed to have it installed because it is like half an inch too small, is the kenwood one like this also?

All Aftermarket head units will need an installation kit or adapter and wireing harness adapter because the stock radio has built-in to the faceplate allignment pins and mounting tabs, so yes to your question, the kenwood is the same.

If you can not find the Install Kit for the 05-06 Mustang you can use the Ford F-150 install kit, they are the same.

Metra actually makes a kit to mount these double din units into our cars and f-150's. It's allready trimmed out and everthing.

are there any news about such systems since the last posting?

I'm interested to mount such a system, but I must say that I'm not very much convinced about what I see ...... I want a dvd-navigation with bluetuth phone set. Is there something that fits in our cars?
