I have not decided yet to keep or take off... since I just got the car I'll wait and see... I am looking at the hood scoop and stripes, so I may put that on and take the guards off... they are at least body color, and don't attract attention to them selves during normal driving... and at the moment I can claim I have a 'limited production' car he he

 

This past summer I rented a drop top 05 and it had the side moldings, the rental place had several other mustangs 99-05 and they all had them.

 

TammiJoe - The ones I have for the 05 came painted from the factory. I also got a set for my 04 through a dealer that did not come painted - I had the body shop that put them on paint them also and they did a fine job matching the paint. As for ScottRNelson, I always park on the end or further out in a parking lot but invariably no matter where I park when I return someone is right next to me. I will rarely take my Stangs or Vette to a mall, supermarket, etc. - that's turf for my SUV. Happy motoring everyone!

 

I see them all of the time at the Hertz counters at several airports around the U.S. They look better on some colors than others.

 

I have them on my 06 convertible.... Not sure why? They aren't too bad... If they save me from one dent then they are worth it. No matter how far away from anyone you park when you come back someone's parked beside you... Probably just to **** you off[:-]
