Default shift *****

I found These

The site says :

"2005 steeda shifters use a '94-'04 thread pattern which is not the same as the stock 2005 Mustang;as a result, order your shift ball with the '99-'04 thread size for proper fit"

Is this contadictory? If an '05 (and I assume '06) have a different thread pattern wouldn't you be making a mistake to order the '99-'04 thread pattern?

Also.... Are there other good sites for shift *****? I checked the non-perflormance parts list and didn't find any.

hahaha that is pretty confusing. But if you click on the link below that very confusing paragraph, they explain it. This is how I understand it, all shift ***** they have are with the 94-04 thread size, however they have a little insert so that it will fit our 05+'s. Thats why they say even though the 94-04 has a different thread size, still order and they will give you the insert to fit your car.
confusing but makes sense on the next page
