What is my 2006 GT worth?
I bought a 2006 GT in November. It's a gorgeous car, but I can't seem to get comfortable in it. I'm thinking of selling it. It's a premium 5 speed, Black with red leather, and nearly every option including the polished 18" rims. I've added sequential tail lights and red calipers. It now has 3400 miles on it. The sticker was $28,700. There probably aren't many used 2006 models yet, but does anybody have an idea of what it might be worth?
No reason you can't get very near what you paid for it. Check Edmunds or eBay, there are plenty for sale there which may give you an idea for used pricing. Not long enough into the year to get a used car value for it yet otherwise.
I bought an 05' GT fully loaded every option. Paid $28,500
sold it 6 months later for every penny invested. I didnt lose a dime, its just a hard car to get. You should be able to get what you paid if you try.
I just picked up the 06'

I think maybe the steering wheel is too close to the dash, I'm not sure. I also do not find the seat belts comfortable. I just can't seem to find a comfortable driving position. I may just be having buyers remorse, but I definitley miss the 03 Silverado I traded in.
Well, sometimes there's a period of adjustment with a new car (or for that matter, anything new in life). You may find yourself getting used to your new Mustang after a little bit of time and a few miles. But of course, you eventually know what feels right for you after you've given yourself a chance to get used to your new cockpit environment. For what it's worth, my best guess is that you ought to get a pretty good price for your 2006 GT, because they are so highly desired. Good luck!

I put my 06 GT manual loaded in with 6000 miles as an 05 on kbb.com and it said $27080.
That's more than I paid, if I don't count tax.
Hell, I'd change the seats and belts before I'd sell my car.
Your comparing your Silverado to your Mustang, I just think you're use to driving a vehicle twice the size in all areas.

yeah....ive driven an Expedition and F-150 for a year...then i got into a small car and honestly felt like i just got my license a week before for about 4 months....i would DEFINITELY give it time and lots of thought before you go get a truck back......i eventually got used to the smaller car and being lower to the ground and in a tighter space and it felt a lot better and it was a lot easier to control.
Make sure you absolutely hate the car before you get rid of it and get a truck or something again.....i have a feeling you will regret that more than getting rid of your truck in the first place because you will realize you are slowly getting used to it.
