Default GT Grill Removal

Before I break this thing, anybody got any pointers on how to get the GT grill off?

no, but what are you planning on putting in its place? I'm waiting for CDC to put out their 'honeycomb' grill. ...maybe somethin worthwhile. The only grill I like is the Saleen grill but ya need to go with their whole fascia (it won't fit in stock GT)

I'm actually just looking to replace the running pony. I can probably get it off without removing the grill, but I would rather not take the chance of breaking something if the grill is easy enough to take off.

I took mine off while installing my Billit grill...

It was EASY... there are 4 plastic tabs - 2 on each side. It is a little tricky to do without the right tools but easy enough.

I took an old thin screwdriver and bent the very tip at a 90 degree angle to act as a tab puller... Insert it from the front and grab the tab and pull it forward while tugging on the gril...

Be careful of the wires for the fog lights.

Reinstallation was nothing but pushing the grill back into place.

Just like the Prof said for removal.
I took mine out to replace my pony too. What a pain until I figured out how to the the tabs popped. And don't try to replace the pony without taking out the grill (I tried that too).
Good news is that it pops right back in in seconds.

I saw that the grill of a Roush looked kinda odd. So I looked closer and saw that all they did was remove the chrome pony. The original plastic, honeycomb grill was behind the billit grill!
