Default Cold start problem

every morning for the past week I get in to start my car, but when I turn the key the engine turns over but the car does not start, I let go of the key and I hear a bunch clicking for about 3-5 seconds. I turn the ingnition off then try to restart the car ind it starts fine. Has anyone heard of such a problem or any ideas what it could be.

I am afraid to take it to the dealer untill I put the stock tune back, remove the CAI, UD pullys, CMDP and Throttle body, in fear that they will blame my problems or damage on the mods.

Not to be silly but---when you start the car, do you "pause" after turning the key part way, and THEN crank it? You need to--it gives it time for a shot of fuel to be pumped in....if you listen closely, you can hear it.

If you ARE starting it like this, then maybe you have a real problem and it's NOT squirting the fuel in...

Just a thought!

As for the clicking---not sure about that. I do hear some type of "solenoid" that sounds more like something spinning, and then it eventually stops. I noticed this from flashing the car with the Xcal2...it just became obvious from all of the key off/key on steps.

I am turning the key all the way, as for the clicking it sounds like several solenoids clicking. very loud I will capture a recording in the am, it only happens in the morning.

I had the same problem my first week, just personal error. The ignition didn't fire up as quickly as I thought, or sometimes I hear it and it didn't, so I'd let go, start again to get a nasty grinding noise.

Haven't done it since.

the same thing happens to my girlfriend's civic when it is too cold and she parks outside overnight

her brother (who is a car junky too) said that it might be that condensation is freezing in the injectors

No I have had this car for 6 months, that this just started, It turns over just will not start like it not getting fuel or no spark. It's about 40 deg so freezing condensation is not the issue. I had a Dyno tune about three weeks ago and a Throttle body installed.
