I just installed a C&L intake on my 06GT, but am having problems retuning it with the predator. I have a Diablo Predator (U7140), updated with the latest firmware (r28). I've downloaded the right C&L tune file from diablosport's website and according to the success messages on my pc and predator, I've imported the custom C&L tune successfully into the predator. However, when I go to install it in my car, there is nothing listed for "custom tune" under the performance tune menu, only the default diablo tunes and an option to restore the original backup.

I've gone through the process of reseting my predator and importing the custom tune several times with the same results each time. The only thing I can find in the instructions just says that if there are no custom tunes loaded on the predator, there will be no custom tune menu option. Please Help!!!

 

Call Diablo, they will help you over the phone. Good Luck

FYI... I contacted Diablo today and was told that they are no longer updating their site with C&L custom tunes at the request of C&L. The tunes currently listed are only for the 05 and haven't been updated in a while. To get a C&L tune, you'll need to contact either C&L or your local Diablo dealer.

 

WTF? Why? I have the same combo you do. Mine came preprogrammed from C&L but I may need to upgrade firmware. C&L better pick up the slack.

The predator included in the combo (CL7140 ?) does come preloaded with the C&L tunes still, however, I had purchased my cai and predator seperately. I was able to contact C&L directly and have a tune file emailed to me almost immediately. Not sure why they don't list them on their website or Diablo's anymore. Maybe they're just lonely and really want people to call?

 

I called c&l and they were more than happy to send me the correct tunes for my car. Just have your 5 digit code ready so they know which tune you need. They sent me both the 87 octane and the 93 octane tunes.
