Saleen's HID lamps sell as a set of two for $899.99, not each lamp. We can beat that price for them if you are interested.

So is the ballast an igniter built into the unit like say a lexus or benz?

The Saleen HIDs come with everything you need to do a plug and play install. The ballasts are part of the harness...nice setup.

for $899, those seleen's better have adjustable beam settings from stun all the way up to vaporize.
