Default Cabin Filters

Do the 05+ Mustangs have cabin air filters? If so where are they located?

Yes they do. It's in the passenger side cowl area (under the plastic trim by the wipers)

So to change/check them do you get to them from the engine compartment, behind the glove box, or through the outside trim?

Thanks....

You have to raise the hood and remove the plastic cover under the wiper. There are about 3 little retainers that hold it on. Filter is about center in the "box" underneath the plastic cover. It takes a little majic to get the cover off once the retainers are removed. Overall not too bad.

You don't have to completely remove the plastic trim. Remove the retainers and you can lift it enough to get the filter out.
