Default 06 Foose Mustang

I caught the tail end of rides last night where Chip Foose designed Eleanor's big brother, a 2006 Mustang. I saw the finishing up the body work to make it resemble the original. Also, they said that some Ford Dealerships were going to offer this Mustang as a limited edition at some point in time. My question is, does this car have any performance mods, or is it all show? Sorry if this has been posted before.

Thanks Mike. Still doesn't say anything about engine/drivetrain mods. I just don't understand doing that to a car and not touching the engine......thats just me though.

Exactly: "Performance mods include custom Foose-designed 20-inch wheels, Baer Brakes four-piston front brakes and Eibach springs."
They didn't make mention of any "go fast mods" on the show and with the price and what this means to local dealership warranty support capabilities, I'm not too surprised. A stock GT will likely be lighter and have less 1/4 mile wind drag so it would be kind of embarrasing if it turns out that the stocker is a touch quicker.

This is what kills me...
Foose badging replaces the Mustang emblem on the custom grillework. Oh Yeah? I saw the car on the show; maybe not as bad as Roush having his name plastered 100 or so times on his cars; I think I saw "Foose" about 20 times on this one. I like Chip Foose but you can see this personal identification this is going to their heads. How many times was "Shelby" on the 67? 2 or 3 maybe?

I haven't done any perf mods yet but my car only has 55mi and the weather and roads here in the NE are just so bad right now. ...but by the time these Foose versions come out I'll be able to see stock ones in the rear view down the 1/4 (lol).

Good grief....what have you done to the car, put it up on blocks?!?! I had more than 55 miles the first DAY with my car!

Where are you in this wonderful winter wonderland??

I agree. He is also signing the dash just like Shelby did. I think his ego is getting out of control.

Well, got the car in late Dec; did the body fab work then brought it to the painter; it was there for a couple weeks; just got it back two weeks ago. One other thing is that the MASS Registry screwed up on my reg as it came back as an Explorer; ..so the dealer couldn't give me an insp sticker. My plan now is to go get one in two weeks and I'll have a 3 on the windshield so future years will be easier. My daily driver/commuter is a 2000 Galant. I'm patient.

So you're is Mass? what town/city? I'm in Dudley. Do you have a 05-06 GT?
