Default I'm SAD!

We had a hail storm here yesterday afternoon late!

My son had my Explorer, so I HAD to drive my Mustang to work! [:@]

You are not the only one PW. Mine got it bad. All along the top, hood, trunk, down the sides and even my quarter window scoop on the passenger side got broke. I don't think Dent Wizzard is going to want to touch this one. I just hope that it can be fixed since Ford discontinued the sonic blue color.

Yesterday was a VERY sad day for our ponies in the St. Louis area.

05BlueGT... Oh hell.. that's right - you work just across the highway from me!

Mine is the hood, windshield surround, trunk, wing and the high side of the drivers sides.

The dents don't look all that bad in depth, but there sure are a lot of them!

Dent Devil is a sponsor for my car, so they should cut me a special deal for the repair...

American Family is my Insurance... they say it will take 3 or more days to get an appraiser out - they won't let me just take it to a couple of shops for estimates.

I ask AMF if I could get a special deal on the repair which would save them money, would they waive my deductible... lol... they said NO!... so I figure I'll just get them to cut me a check, have DD fix the dents and pocket the rest.

We have aluminum hoods right? On my previous car, an STi, its hood was also aluminum, and everyone said you cannot pop dings out of aluminum, something about the paint will seperate. They will have to buy you a new hood.

Insurance companies are such a farc . You try to save them money and they won't even think about giving you break. I say use them to the max then ditch them. I have some on the top of the door above the glass. I haven't noticed any on the spoiler but it was too dark last night to notice. I won't know anything until tomorrow since I drove my truck to work today and it will be dark by the time I get home. It is not a pretty sight to see.

PW, how was your car parked? The storm came from the west and my car was parked west to east. I am guessing yours was parked north/south direction?

Yea... Scarlet was sitting N/W...

It was a bummer -- from my Office Window I could only stand and watch the hail coming down! [:@]

I heard a little more north of us they got Golf Ball size hail that dammaged homes as well as cars. Ours was marble size.

We had quarter size and there is still about 12 inches of it sitting in the corner of the building.
