Default sheet metal

Where would one such as myself go to find some OEM parts, sheet metal esp, for an 05 mustang? Is there a place you can get it yourself or would I have to go through a bodyshop? Thanks

never looked, but bet theres some flood cars in the boneyards down south. bad thing about shipping sheetmetal though- shipping/crating will cost more than the part most times. aside fom that any ford dealer would be my guess- a body shop might get a discount if they buy enough from a certain dealer, might pass on some savings to you if theyre getting the paint work...

of course you could always go to a dealer to get parts but if you're looking for good used parts check out "www.car-parts.com"
you can do a state, local or nationwide search for any part on any car...
BEWARE of flood vehicle parts...
use only single ply sheet metal parts from flooded vehicles...ie: fenders, MAYBE a hood...the problem with flood parts is that they rust from the inside out...so never use doors, rockers, pillars, quarters as they'll just deteriorate and rust from the inside-out.
even be carefull with hoos, the underside structure and baffling can still collect water...
