Here is my 2010 GT Vert , Black with Gold Super Snake stripe.

Diggin the stripe styles. What I would like ask is how many are going with a vinyl stripe kit or going for paint? I had vinyl on my 06 GT (dealer installed) and they faded and tree sap stained them. I intend to put stripes on my 2010 GT but I think I'll save some more cash for a nice painted stripe. Anyone else have or had the same issues?

I really don't want to have them painted. I hate to permanently put anything on the factory paint job. I'd like to use quality vinyl that won't fade / peel / etc.

I think I also want to leave the paint job alone. Do you (or anybody) have any examples of places to get higher quality vinyl from your experiences?

I've heard Oracal vinyl is very good.

They are Vinyl Stripes that have the color Sprayed on them (not Ink) so it retains the color better and is the way to go for Metalics. My Ford Dealer special orderd and installed them for me..Not sure where they ordered them from.

My new all black GT was a little bit too much black. 8-)

Since I had the scoop, my choice of stripes was somewhat different. I wanted to add some white striping but I wanted it to be a little bit suttle so I had this car detailer add the Mustang stripes on the sides and the two spear stripes on the hood. I must admit there are no other cars dressed like this!
