Default Powder Coating Wheels

I am thinking about getting my wheels powder coated black. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would my original wheels need to be stripped down first? I Dont have any experience with powder coating at all so all feedback is welcome

They most likely will have to strip the coating that is currently on there. The place you are getting it done should take care of that though. They will either blast or dip them to remove whats on there. Think they will dip them as blasting usually pits soft metals.

What color you plan on doing?

I was going to get some rims done locally and it was about $120 for all 4.

I was thinking black...$120 for all 4? That seems pretty cheap...heck if it was $120 for each I think that would be a good deal...
