you got that confused with the 1Ds mark III..I have the 1D MArk III the 1Ds is for weddings and stuff like that, Mine being the 1D has less megapixel and is designed for sports as it has a better high ISO shoots 10FPS.
When it was new it was about $4500. I only paid 2800 for it last year
