About to install a vinyle center stripe on my 2010. Intend to eventually paint it if the style works for me. Most of it will be no problem, but my car came with Satellite radio and the rear deck antenna. Does anyone know how to remove it so it can be reinstalled after the striping? Is there a bolt from the bottom in the trunk or is it 3M taped. Probably my weekend project, so just would like to know what I'm in for when I try to get it off. Thanks for any input.

 

Im having a stripe put on this month. I will take a look at the trunk later today if no one answers before I get off work. Its probably easy to remove from the underside.

 

its just a simple lock /nut and bolt piece threw your trunk ....I wish i could take it off all together without a big whole to fill in...what stripe are you going with...

Thanks, that sounds great, I was dreading removing 3M tape and reinstalling that way. I was hoping it was a nut and bolt. I noticed a rubber gasket at the bottom so I thought that might be the case. The stripe is similar to yours, my Stang is Sterling Grey Metallic, will have a silver stripe, wide stripe in center with one inch stripes on each side.
