who cares about rotating tires? i never rotate tires. i just replace what needs to be replaced. in my 05 focus turbo i had before the mustang, i replaced my front tires 4 times before replacing the rear. IMO its better to have 2 tires get 40k miles and 2 get 10k miles then have all 4 get 15k. lol. plus wider tires in the back look badass! ill be def going with wider tires when i replace mine.

Car looks great. Disregard the nay-sayers. Not enough rubber with 19" wheels.

But lower the car with Steeda sport springs (1") for the perfect stance. And 255's on the the rear are perfectly safe handling-wise, even though the staggered wheels do look better. It's not so much the rear is over-tired, but that the front is under-tired. Tires can be rotated if you must, but would look a little weird. My dealer did it once with my Shelby take-offs. LOL. Even after I told them not to rotate 'em.

BTW, Tire Rack has a terrific price on the 255/45/18 F1 Supercar with the 220 wear rating if you want to replace the rears and don't need the 180 rating. Don't know which tire came with your set. They list both in the same size.

Believe the 2010 Shelby convertibles had the 18" wheel, while the coupe had the 19". The 19's seem harder to come by.

Cheers.

I loved the wheels the first time I saw them on the GT500. I also agree with your logic and personally much prefer to have the same rubber all around as well. I will say they do look peculiar on your car though, and that's coming from someone who things sidewall is a good thing to have. I dont think that is an issue though.

It might be the angle of the picture, for some reason. You cant have too many pics of the car!
