Got the DDM single beam kit, but its got 2 prongs on the end and the factory wiring needs a male 3 pronged connector, what did I do wrong?
would a wiring harness work or do i need the hi/lo kit, cuz apparently for this to work you need to sand down the prongs and fit them into the 3 prong female connector...

See if you can buy the other side of the plug from auto zone.

The three prong on the vehicle side is for hi low and ground. Use a multi-meter to figure out which one is low and which is ground.

Our cars don't need the error eliminators
@KonaStangPete I ran into the same problem I also got just the low kit what I did is cut the plug and a couple inches of wire off HID bulbs I bought off ebay and I didn't want any more and used those to connect to the factory plug because your right the pieces ddm sent are to big and don't fit in the slots I guess you could sand it or cut em down

so for the new mustang we don't need any relay harness?
the ballast can be plug in both side?

if not then does it throw any error code for only using one headlight plug with the harness?

seems like i should've wait for the car already have HID in it, but right now this is the best way to go

the hi/low kit is plug and play, i installed it a week ago from ddm

both hi/low and fog, the reason the hi/low kit is more is because that kit comes with a harness and hi/low selector. everything is plug and play

im having a really hard time understanding the standard low kit? that two pin connector is off the bulb right? that should plug into the ballast and the ballast plugs into the factory plug....at least thats how every hid conversion i have ever done is
