Winter wheels??
I have the DWS on my Mini and they are fantastic in the wet and competent in the snow (if you know what you're doing and don't drive it like it's a jeep.) Personally, I'd go with true snow tires in either 225/50 or 235/50. You want narrower tires to increase the pounds per square inch on the ground. The "performance" winter tires do well in the conditions you'll see in Ohio. All-seasons don't do as well in heavy, wet snow. I had an Integra and a Miata in Wisconsin and both were better in the snow with snow tires (Pirelli Winter 210s and Michelin Aplins, respectively) than the WRX with all-seasons.
