Gave the part number to my dealer (who has the car in now for some paint work) and they told me the CS kit is not available, I know you guys have been installing them, so what goes? ford dealer can't get it?

they said part number is good, and it is 349.00, but not available, I need to call the service writer back asap

car in question 2011 GT
it's supposed to be a X-Mas gift for the wife's stang

Thanks a million!

I bought my CS valance with lights at Late Model Restorations. It was around $500.

Default UPDATE

went in person to another ford dealer, gave him the number, he looked it up, even printed out the pic of it complete with lights, it is a vendor item - he ordered it 7-10 days no promises on that, but he said they usually make it within 10 days!~

Go to your local ford dealer, and ask the salesman that sold you the car to order part #BR3Z-15200-AA. Tell him that it is for a 2011 mustang. It should come out to be $349, but if the salesman order it under his account he could save you some money.

I did, I asked the dealer I bought the car from, I even gave them the part number, they took me to parts, he couldn't find it, called back told me it was not available, I did go to another dealer and they ordered it for me, they said it is a vendor item and usually have it in 7-10 days, but also said again, it is a vendor item and could not promise it would be here by then

I call tomorrow and see if it came in!
