Looking for new wheels...
Not if it's a lightweight wheel......and it does wonders on a roadcourse having the same width all the way around.....staggered isn't the best setup for road racing....
The benefit is balance and stability, grip too.....Plus the weight difference is less than 2lbs between the 18x9 and 18x10 FR wheels last I checked.....
Let's say its 2 lbs even:Going by the rule that per every additional 10lbs of rotating mass equals 100 lbs of dead weight.... that would mean that you're only adding the equivalent of 40lbs of dead weight to the car. Most people on a daily driver won't notice this difference.....not to mention that the spare tire and backseat weigh considerably more than 40lbs when combined (two very easy things to remove for a track day).
Just my .02
The benefits far outweigh any negatives imo.

hmm so ok, i take back what i said about not wanting to run the 10 gt500 wheels, i just found these:

that's teh svt 10 gt500 wheel in a dark argent finish. ive never seen these before, but they appear to be black and that is a good price.

I know half of the people who post just daily his or her car with no intent on track usage.
Me, on the other hand.....I have actually done HPDE events at NSS (Nashville SuperSpeedway) and have done so for the last 4 years
I'm working on getting my car ready for Road Atlanta next season

I actually just ordered my set lol 18x10's all around with 275 rubber up front 285 rubber out back haha
January I'll get my D-specs ordered as well as various other Maximum Motorsports Suspension and Braking components ;P
/thread jack
I have been looking at these I just wish I could see a damn picture of them on a car or a non photoshopped version

Yes this wheel is curbed all to hell, and no i didn't do it lol

But you definitely can't beat the price as I even plan to pick up an extra set in the spring just for my DRs as it is cheaper than getting a set of 15s.
