Please, save your 11 dollars and STAY VERY FAR AWAY from the DupliColor Hot Tires paint pens. They suck, worse than the San Antonio Spurs in the playoffs right now.

I bought 2 the first time, the 1st one I opened was dried out already so I returned it and bought 1 more pen for good luck. I had to remove the tires from the car in order to paint them, because it was so hard to get the paint to flow down onto the tip of that stupid pen. It sucked, I spent forever on my tires painting them, they looks so amazing when I mounted them back onto my car. Boy, they didn't even last the night. I went to look at my car the next morning and it was already falling off, so I redid the tires again, again it lasted a day.

It wasn't my prep work or drying time, I was careful about this from the start of the project.

These paint pens suck. I took them all back and got a full refund. I am painting the tires with Testors Classic White model paint as I type this angry message, the paint feels like it should stay on the rubber for awhile, but only time will tell on that one.

Hey, at least I got some cool pictures with my one day white letters.

I hate you duplicolor hot tires.
Kona, ya big goober, this thread isn't even that long. Look above for your answer. I even referenced this exact post at MM, jerk.

Well, my car is at the dealership for serious engine/electronic problems, last I saw the car the paint was holding up just fine (Testors Classic Paint), but my rear tire did get scrapped at the dealership so the paint came off a bit, but that is the dealership's fault not mine.

I can't really say the paint worked or not, not until I get the car drivable again and drive it around and see what happens to the paint over time. Hell, I may never be able to give you an answer, I don't think I will ever drive that car again, it's damn dangerous.

^wow bro your having a serious love/hate/love/hate relationship with your stang right now. lol
All we hear is hate, then when you get her back and cruise around drawing all the envious looks stares finger pointing jaws dropping etc you'll be like I love you baby. haha lmao
I do feel for ya though I took Ellie in yesterday and they think I have either a wheel bearing go out or a front control arm on top of the engine tick when cold. And the guy who drove it with me in the car who was the service manager even managed to grind the cars gears on lo&behold? The one-two shift just like i've been telling them its been doing for months! He was even going nice and slow to haha
I hope they fix your baby back to good as new and you get her back and continue to mod her just my .02c

Saw this thread and it gave me an idea. However, I chose a different color of paint as you can. Seemed more fitting with the tires I have.
