To be fair, this is probably what the other guy was referring to. It sounds like you chose 18's because you didn't want to buy new tires??

But those wheels look nice. Not a fan of all black wheels on white but your car looks good there. Congrats.

The short/long story is, back in the early 70's when I was 19, I had a 1970
302 BOSS. Saddly Like many of us back then, didn't realize what we were sitting on. After a few years of beating on the car and getting older I sold it

 

Did't mean to send that yet. Fast foward thru 25 years of marraige and driving a mini-van for 10 years to get my kids thru their High School and
college years. My Kids and wife said it was time for me to get a new toy.
I first bought a 2006 V6. and my kids told me to get a vanity plate.
They picked the name for me. Last year I up-graded to the GT and carried
over the plate. Thats My story !
